As funny as that “Don’t forget: You’re here forever” meme was it’s so invigorating to be completely done with 4chan in general.  It was such a great and fun site from 2006-2009 or so but sometime in the 2010s it just kind of became miserable to lurk and even more miserable to post.  Eventually I just got fed up and gave up the site entirely after /vr/ became just as bad as /v/ as far as being jaded gatekeeping assholes go.  I left about a year ago and have absolutely no desire to look back again.

It’s a shame because there isn’t a decent replacement, but whatever.

I still really only browse for /ck/ but honestly fuck every other board they’re just miserable to be around

I go on /co/ for SU leaks and other cartoon show info, and /vp/ to get episodes of the anime, and that’s pretty much it. It’s crazy when I think how much time I used to spend there, but I’m honestly glad I’ve moved away from it.
